Another season of change!

 

As each year goes by, we continue to find new ways to update the BliSS food service offerings and operations.  This year is no different!  We had a fantastic holiday season at the end of 2024 with our Marine Corps Ball and National Day celebrations along with the great holiday events for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We were thrilled to be able to end the year with some of Ambassador Romanoski’s last events and then ring in the new year with all of those brave hearts who stuck it out for the holidays!

The team always enjoys the chance to showcase their talents during the holidays.  With the changes to budget practices starting in October we have had to find new ways to work with new cost variables, while still putting out quality performance.  To that end we have continued to push through to find new ideas, new options and even new venues, such as the 2 new Grab and Go’s at the BDSC site.

With these constant changes, and as we try to work towards non-repeat menus, we have seen some of the old favorites go away, only to make it back again by popular demand.  We have also seen some new favorites make the scene to great appeal!  So, hang on as we roll into spring season, and into the summer, we have more options in the works and are hoping that they will meet with the same great feedback that we have been receiving.

Speaking of feedback, the new advisory boards have started up at the BEC and BDSC and the feedback has been good, as well as the chance to spread the word on processes to get new items researched and developed for deployment to line!  We encourage you to share comment cards, on this site or with your advisory board representative!  Any feedback is welcomed and valued; this is how we grow…
